A young man was killed and four injured in a shooting at a shisha bar in Austin, the capital of the US state of Texas.
The fatal victim of the shooting is Brayden Bolyard, a 17-year-old high school student, Austin police said in a statement, adding that the four injured have been treated at the hospital.
Authorities have identified a suspect with “a common history with one of the victims”. He will have left the case after opening fire in the ‘shisha’ parlor on Saturday night, the police reported.
The school board of the city of Jarrell, north of Austin, said in a statement it was “deeply saddened” by the loss of one of the area’s students.
Meanwhile, ten people were injured, two of them seriously, in a shooting Monday in Lakeland, southeastern Florida, allegedly related to the marijuana trade, local authorities said.
According to police, four people may be involved in the shooting, who are looking for the vehicle involved in the incident.
