The maritime rescue teams have rescued this Tuesday morning 171 people who were in three boats, of which 117 of sub-Saharan origin have already disembarked at the Gran Tarajal dock, in Fuerteventura.
According to the teams, another 54 people of North African origin will disembark in Arguineguín, in the southwest of Gran Canaria.
Two of the vessels were sighted by the Sasemar 103 plane south of Fuerteventura, the Salvamar Mizar having been directed to the place.
Later, the Guardamar Polimnia rescued, 278 kilometers south of Gran Canaria, the 54 occupants of a third boat (52 men and two women), which had to disembark at the Arguineguín dock.
