Russia blames Ukrainian troops for the attack on Donetsk that left seven people injured

“According to preliminary information, as a result of the shelling of Voroshilovsky district, seven people were injured,” said Mayor Oleksiy Kulemzinen.

According to the Russian mayor, one of the rockets launched hit a kindergarten, while several shops, a library and an apartment building suffered property damage.

Russian authorities in the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk, illegally annexed by Russia last September, also revealed that Ukrainian forces today fired 40 rockets from various platforms above the city in an attack that lasted a few minutes.

The Russian military offensive on Ukrainian territory, which began on February 24, 2022, plunged Europe into what is considered the most serious security crisis since World War II, in the 1940s.
