“kyiv stands tall and stable.” Biden says Ukraine will “never be defeated by Russia”

The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, guarantees that Ukraine “will never be defeated by Russia”, since “free peoples refuse to live in oppression”.

After the usual thanks and in a speech in which “freedom” was one of the most pronounced words, Joe Biden assured that “Kiev is still standing and firm” and, above all, “free”.

“A year later we responded, we became stronger, we stood together and the world did not turn its face,” the US president said in the speech in Warsaw, Poland.

Biden assured Zelensky that he would continue to “fight” by his side, praised the efforts of the Ukrainian people and claimed that Putin “underestimated” the union of Western countries.

“One year after the war, Putin no longer doubts the strength of our coalition, but he still doubts our convictions, doubts that we will remain united and our support for Ukraine,” he said.

“A dictator who wants to build an empire will never undermine the will for freedom of a people. Ukraine will never be defeated by Russia, because free peoples refuse to live in oppression”, continued the US president, reaffirming the “crimes against humanity” committed by Russia.

Joe Biden considers that “the world is uniting” against Russia, due to the military intervention in Ukraine, especially due to the shortage of food exported in that region of the world: “We must help Africa.”

“We have to hold those responsible for the war accountable. War crimes and crimes against humanity do not prescribe, ”he stressed.

Finally, he leaves a warning to Putin: “An attack on any member is an attack on all NATO members.”

In the first speech on the State of the Nation in almost two years, Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the progress of the military campaign in Ukraine, defined strategies for the country’s economy and, above all, condemned the West for the development of the conflict.

In the final notes of a nearly two-hour speech, Putin announced that he had decided to suspend participation in the New START nuclear disarmament treaty, the only existing nuclear treaty between the United States and Russia.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on the Russian president to “reconsider” the decision to leave the “New Beginning” nuclear non-proliferation treaty, regretting the decision announced by Vladimir Putin.

On Tuesday, the US president said that, one year after the start of the war in Ukraine, the Atlantic Alliance is “stronger than ever” and reaffirmed the dedication of the United States to the security of Europe.
