A source from the Israeli embassy in Portugal told the TSF that the employees are represented by the union in question and decided to comply with the recommendation, therefore diplomatic representation is no longer open after lunch.
Meanwhile, the decision was made official by the diplomatic representation. “Due to the decision of the Union of Israel Trade Unions, whereby all Israeli embassies are instructed to stop work and go on strike, the Embassy will remain closed today until further notice,” the Twitter read.
