Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Poland on Wednesday morning for his first official visit to the country, the Polish presidency said.
“Mr. President has crossed the Polish border. He is on Polish territory,” Marcin Przydacz, adviser to the Polish presidency, told TVN24, without adding details.

According to the same source, the Ukrainian leader will meet with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to discuss security, international and economic relations, and historical and sensitive issues between the two countries.
The Ukrainian president will meet with Ukrainians living in Poland, the member of the European Union (EU) that has hosted the most refugees from the invaded country since the Russian aggression.
“It will be a very special visit,” said the adviser to the Polish Presidency.
Zelensky has made few trips abroad since the start of the war with Russia, which was launched on February 24, 2022 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Poland has been a key ally of Kiev since the beginning of the invasion.
The Ukrainian president made his first trip abroad in December 2022, when he traveled on to the United States, after which he made a stopover in Warsaw.
He then traveled to London, Paris and Brussels in February and also made a short visit to Poland before returning to Ukraine.
