The president of the self-proclaimed Donetsk republic guarantees that Russian troops already control all the administrative buildings in Bakhmut, the scene of the biggest and most destructive battle since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Quoted by the Ria Novosti Agency, Denis Pushilin says that this represents control of 80% of the city’s territory, which is almost completely destroyed.
TO TSF visited the military hospital closest to the front line, which provides support to Ukrainian troops and has already been shelled “dozens of times.” At this point, however, a “quiet peace” is experienced.
According to local data collected by the TSF, on a “bad day” 30 people can die in this military hospital. Considering the war, that’s a high number, but it’s not “carnage.”
