A Ukrainian prisoner of war was allegedly beheaded by Russian forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday, referring to the suspected attackers as “monsters.”
“These monsters kill easily. The world must see the video of the execution of the Ukrainian prisoner of war. It is a video of Russia as it is,” said the Ukrainian head of state in a message posted on the Instagram social network and quoted by Agence France Presse.

So far no further details have been released about the alleged beheading, and the place where the execution took place is unknown.
The identities of the victim and the alleged attackers have not yet been released.
