“Everyone has to play the game.” This Thursday, at Apolline de Malherbe’s microphone on BFMTV and RMC, Bruno Le Maire once again spoke about the difficult situation of the automotive equipment manufacturer MA France, a Stellantis subcontractor, whose employees have been on strike since mid-April. The latter fear that their stamping and cutting parts company will declare bankruptcy.
“Everyone must participate, the big clients, Renault, Stellantis, must pay much more attention to their subcontractors and their situation,” explained Bruno Le Maire.
“The big ones must take care of the little ones”
“I think that the big clients, Renault, Stellantis, in this period of very brutal and very rapid transition in which competition is fierce, must pay attention to their subcontractors. This has always been my line of economic policy,” he added.
“The big ones must pay attention to the small ones,” summarizes Bruno Le Maire.
The Minister of Economy, accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Roland Lescure, brought together all the actors in the sector on Monday, May 6, to sign the 2023-2027 sector contract that sets the objectives of the subsidiary in France.
