Bison Futé has classified the north-western part of France in orange, risk of difficult traffic, with many returns scheduled for this Monday of Whitsun.

There will be people on the road on this Pentecost Monday. Bison Futé classified the day as orange, with risk of “difficult traffic”, especially in the northwestern quarter of France.

“Traffic will be heavy from the beginning of the afternoon in the direction of Île-de-France. Returns will generally take place between mid-morning and early afternoon. The A10, A13 and A7 motorways should experience significant difficulties in the midst of the late,” says the traffic forecast agency.

Under these conditions, Bison Futé recommends:

In the return address:

  • arrive or cross Île-de-France before 2:00 p.m.,
  • avoid the A11 motorway between Le Mans and Paris, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
  • avoid the A13 motorway, between Caen and Paris, from 10 am to 8 pm,
  • avoid the A7 motorway, between Marseille and Lyon, from 12 to 18 hours,
  • avoid the A9 motorway, between Montpellier and Orange, from 11 am to 1 pm,
  • avoid the A62 motorway between Toulouse and Bordeaux, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
  • avoid the A61 motorway between Narbonne and Toulouse, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
  • avoid the national 165 between Quimper and Nantes from 10 am to 7 pm.
