The rating agency Moody’s indicated on Friday that it had not updated France’s credit rating, in the midst of the 2024 budget study in Parliament.
The “Aa2” rating is maintained, one of the best possible, and the outlook remains stable, which means that the rating agency is not considering changing the rating of the French debt for the moment.
For the Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire, “Moody’s decision to maintain France’s rating demonstrates the credibility of our sovereign firm.”
“It reinforces our desire to continue reducing France’s debt and my determination to restore our public finances,” the Economy Minister wrote on X, ex-Twitter.
