The ArcelorMittal steel manufacturer reaffirmed its “intention” to invest in the decarbonation of its Dunkerque (north) site up to 1.2 billion euros, provided that Brussels concretize its measures to protect the European steel, without saying that the elimination of the positions announced in France.
The group confirms “its intention to invest in a first electric oven, in its Dunkerque site, for an amount of around 1.2 billion euros”, taking into account the measures taken by Brussels that go “in the right direction,” the group said in a press release.
