Clarins will set up its new cosmetics production site in Troyes in Aube, which should eventually employ 300 people, the French brand announced on Wednesday.
The factory will be located in Sainte-Savine, within the Parc du Grand Troyes, on a 13.5-hectare plot, with an investment of 135 million euros, according to a press release.
“This will be the group’s second production site, in addition to Pontoise,” specifies Clarins.

François Baroin, Mayor of Troyes, declared in a press release his “pride” and his “joy” at the creation of “an internationally renowned French company, a company that has chosen to produce in France, a company that the choice of excellence , relying on the wealth of our territories”.
Work should start in late February with production scheduled for fall 2024.
Present in 150 countries, Clarins employs 8,000 people and “estimates” its turnover for 2022 at 1.7 billion euros.
