The world number one in toys, the Danish Lego posted a 4% increase in its net profit in 2022 marked by sustained enthusiasm for its famous plastic bricks.
For the full year, net profit amounted to 13.8 billion crowns (1.85 billion euros), while turnover increased by 17% to 64.6 billion crowns.
The Danish brand is one of those that increased its prices the most last year to pass on its cost increases. Lego carried out two price increases in 2022 for an overall average increase of 15% over the year.
