Paris Hilton posts a viral deepfake on TikTok with Tom Cruise

For nearly two years, Miles Fisher and Chris Umé posted fake videos from Tom Cruise to viral success. Now Paris Hilton joins. The media personality just teamed up with the account to create a sort of dream sequence of the best gun star wearing a dress and serenading her at home, because that’s where we are now. It will be good for the 2022 time capsule to look back and try to explain to children.

Paris Hilton recently took it TIC Tac to share a video of her and Tom Cruise’s deepfake, and it’s already getting a lot of attention. In the post Tom Cruise sings “Hold Me Closer” by Elton John and Britney Spears, and once again this technology leaves us speechless. Check this:

In the video, Paris Hilton asks the fake Tom Cruise to “sing that song again” as they both drink from sparkling mugs in comfortable clothes. Miles Fisher, who put Tom Cruise’s interpolated face into the post’s video, sings the song and sounds like Tom Cruise’s voice. As he continues to sing, he takes out a pair of pink sunglasses from his suit pocket, which slides over one of Paris Hilton’s puppies as he holds it.

Hilton seems interested, but as soon as Cruise stops singing, she says it was “good, but not great,” dryly telling him to “just act” before leaving. Cruise agrees as he sits alone, saying, “Yeah, I probably should.” It’s a hilarious and mind-blowing video where viewers said “I’m so confused but I’m vibrating” and “What’s going on?”

With TikTok being so big, it’s simply a TikTok collaboration that Paris Hilton and Tom Cruise’s “deeptomcruise” deepfake account want to go viral. Previously, the two accounts made another video together where Hilton and Cruise went to a premiere together and received 1.5 million views. It’s here:

That’s so convincing, isn’t it? It all started when Miles Fisher started acting in Hollywood, working alongside actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Owen Wilson and Angelina Jolie, among others, and was always told how much he resembled Tom Cruise. While Fisher initially felt he was “failing” by always being compared to Cruise, he began collaborating with VFX artist Chris Umé on the fake videos that now make up the TikTok account.

Since Tom Cruise’s fake videos went viral, there are also concerns about children’s rights to emulate the actor’s image for their own viral success. Umé shared that he is he emailed Cruise asking if he doesn’t like what he is doing , but never received the word to remove its contents. When asked about doubts about the technology itself, Fisher called him “morally neutral”, explaining that he believes that “the positive outcome will far outweigh the negative and harmful uses”.

Tom Cruise isn’t the only celebrity faking his faces and likenesses. A Keanu Reeves’ deepfake account has surfaced earlier this year and Bruce Willis would sell his deepfake rights after retiring from acting, saying it’s a “great opportunity to step back in time”. Willis’s rep later shared that there was no such deal with deepfake.

While the fake Tom Cruise serenades Paris Hilton, the real one achieved the biggest box office hit of 2022 Top Gun: Maverick and he has another big one coming with him Before the 2023 film , Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1in theaters on July 14th.
