Interestingly, there are high-budget films on the way that will be set in underwater environments. Cameron is aware of this fact and the Oscar-winning director said they weren’t actually shooting underwater.

Lead actor Sam Worthington previously commented on how difficult it was to film the work underwater. For the film, the actors had to learn to hold their breath for minutes, indicating that Cameron wanted the film to be as realistic as possible. The director opened up to the New York Times and explained that it’s important for films like aquatic man Yes The little Mermaid have real underwater pictures for authenticity reasons:
Oh I don’t know, maybe she’s okay? Here we go! You want it to look like people are underwater, so they have to be underwater. It’s not a giant leap: if you were doing a western, you would learn to ride a horse. I knew Sam was a surfer, but Sig, Zoe and the others weren’t particularly ocean oriented. So I was very specific about what it would take and we hired the best freediving specialists in the world to talk about it.
Cameron said what he said. He wanted realistic underwater footage, so he made sure his cast was prepared for it. On some level, his feelings are understandable. Shooting in real water allows for a quality of weightlessness and buoyancy that may not be easily replicated by 3D effects. And the Oscar-winning director is no stranger to putting his actors in the water, as the final scenes of Titanic. The underwater technology of the film is already receiving praise and should simply be based on the revolutionary 3D technology of the OG film.

Fans only got their hands on the concept art for the DC film sequel, but Disney’s trailer for its live-action remake announced that Ariel’s underwater world would be a visual marvel. Both of these underwater movies are part of the upcoming 2023 movie list, and fans seem excited to see them.
Viewers will see stunning underwater images when Avatar: The way of water will be released in theaters on December 16. The sequel will follow Jake Sully and his family as they defend their homeland, and the final product is expected to be a “magnificent” one. Avatar monitoring for fans.
