Brosnan, who plays Dr. Fate in DC black adam on the big screen right now, he spoke NME and asked if he had ever been offered the role of musician in a biopic. Choosing musicals is always a bit tricky because there might be a role that would be played perfectly by an actor who can’t sing very well, or you might have songs that would sound perfectly coming from a singer who wouldn’t otherwise be suitable for the role. There have been some instances where vocals in a musical may not have been top notch. Brosnan isn’t even the worst performance in a major musical, but it’s certainly not the best either. For the record, Pierce Brosnan says he would have liked to play Elvis on screen if he had had the opportunity and had been a competent singer. This role was played several times on screen, most recently by Austin Butler in Baz Luhrmann. Elvisand Brosnan greatly appreciates this performance.
