The Browns arrive in Peru. The London family that took in Paddington Bear decides to take a big trip to visit Aunt Lucy, who lives in Peru, at the Retired Bear Home.
But this trip does not go as planned, because Aunt Lucy has gone on an expedition to the Amazon rainforest, as shown in the first trailer for the film, which is expected to hit theaters on February 5, 2025. The Browns, Pure Londoners with unadventurous souls and Paddington Bear go looking for him.
Sketch with Queen Elizabeth
Antonio Banderas and Olivia Colman join Hugh Bonneville (Mr. Brown) in the cast, while Emily Mortimer replaces Sally Hawkins in the role of Ms. Brown. Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton provide the British voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy. Guillaume Galienne still provides Paddington’s French voice.
The second part of Paddington’s adventures was released in 2017, three years after the first film, a real box office success. Studio Canal confirmed the launch of this third part in February 2021.
The likeable children’s book hero, created in 1958 by writer Michael Bond, is very popular in the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth II even participated in a small sketch with the bear in the red hat, to mark her platinum jubilee in June 2022. And the British placed Paddington teddy bears to pay tribute to their sovereign, upon his death in September 2022.
