Grimm stars explain why now it’s time for their Rewatch podcast, plus their favorite episodes to revisit

More than five years have passed Why dark ended up on NBC after six seasons and over a hundred episodes. However, ending the show and moving the cast to other projects didn’t mean the end of the fandom and more people found out dark transmission from the 2017 final . Now the ladies of dark revisits the beloved show with a new podcast titled The Grimmcast. Presenters and actresses Claire Coffee, Bree Turner and Bitsie Tulloch gathered to review each episode and take fans with them. They talked to Gossipify about what’s going on!

The Grimmcast will see Claire Coffee, Bree Turner and Bitsie Tulloch talk about each episode of dark, with the appearance of some special guests. Star David Giuntoli – currently guide the ABC a million little things and Tulloch’s husband, joined the women to discuss the pilot for a time travel experience fans won’t want to miss. As for why now is the time to start a rewatch podcast, Claire Coffee (who played Adalind) explained:

The podcast has been in the works since the beginning of the pandemic for a few years. We are all, above all, always looking for excuses to go out together, and I think it became clear during the pandemic that people are still finding the show. The fandom is so supportive and strong that we thought, “Oh, maybe we can jump on the rewatch chariot.” [laughs] What we’re finding is, first of all, how long the show lasted and how much we love seeing it again and then being able to connect with fans. We opened a line for fan questions and being able to talk to our co-stars, crew members and fans was really satisfying.

The Grimmcast is giving all three former co-stars a chance to become co-hosts, and anyone tuned into the first two episodes knows they’re having a great time! The six seasons of dark are available to stream now with a Amazon Prime subscription so it’s easy to see why the fandom is still alive and growing in 2022. Listeners can even interact with Claire Coffee, Bree Turner (who played Rosalee) and Bitsie Tulloch (who played Juliet and Eve) as the podcast continues. .

With a total of 123 episodes, there is still a long way to go to review and discuss them. Claire Coffee shared that they’re “trying not to screw up too much episode by episode,” so newcomers who haven’t finished all six seasons can enjoy it, while longtime fans will still have clues as to what the newcomers will have. arrived they can expect, they will not understand.

Among those 123 episodes, do the actresses have any favorites they can’t wait to see again? Bree Turner was the first to weigh in on Gossipify with her choice and her fans will probably remember her well. After noting that it’s “fun to think about the rare opportunities to be in scenes together” since they weren’t usually working together as a full group, Turner said:

There is one in particular that I can’t wait. It’s the sixth season, and it’s the [‘Blind Love’] episode where it’s like our episode in Hawaii, like when the cast goes to Hawaii. Instead of Hawaii, as we couldn’t do it, we went to Columbia Gorge and stayed in a nice hotel by the river. It was a great hike and we all went out and we all stayed and we were all in this crazy episode. I really want to talk about it because we had a great time. We basically forgot that we were also on a TV show. I feel like we’re on vacation together. I really want to talk about it.

“Blind Love” is the seventh episode of the sixth season, so it will take some time for the trio of co-hosts to revisit the scams that ensued when the characters took a trip and got themselves into serious trouble. Apparently the cast had a lot more fun than the characters at the end of this particular episode, and of course there are some fun stories in store. In fact, Claire Coffee even called “Blind Love” after what she is excited to revisit:

The [Blind Love] episode because I remember that there is a very specific story that always comes to mind… When I think about this episode there are so many stories that are so important in my life in general, apart from the television production.

Even though fans have some time before The Grimmcast releases “Blind Love”, it looks like the wait will be worth it! Fortunately, Bitsie Tulloch (currently in production on next season of superman and laws for The CW) has a previous choice darkis that “Blind Love” in the sixth season. She shared:

I think of “La Llorona”, which was [Season 2]. That’s what I can’t wait to see again.

“La Llorona” is the ninth episode of the second season, so while The Grimmcast won’t cover Bitsie Tulloch’s selection anytime soon, it’s not too far in the future from Claire Coffee and Bree Turner’s selection. ! ! In the end, the enthusiasm of the three ex dark the podcast stars, along with their favorite picks, prove this is one fans old and new alike won’t want to miss.

The first two episodes of the Grimmcast are now available, with the option of leave a message to co-hosts response in the program. Gossipify rated dark as one of The best horror TV shows to stream on Amazon Prime right now, and the series is definitely a fun fantasy option for fans of the genre.
