Five years after Johnny’s death, Laeticia Hallyday continues to uphold his memory and bring his work to life. If she this Monday she confesses to the RTL microphone: “Today I can stop crying when I listen to her music”, her Laeticia also promises new songs.
Asked about the existence of the unpublished Johnny, she assures: “yes, there are. It will arrive, when the time is right”.
A documentary and an exhibition.
Several unpublished songs by Taulier have already been revealed, drop by drop, in recent years. There was night with mea previously unreleased track recorded in December 1968 at London’s Olympic Sound Studio, unearthed in May 2020. While waiting for these new unpublished works, fans will be able, from December 20, to discover the life of their idol in the great immersive exhibition organized in Brussels. And on Thursday, M6 airs a never-before-seen documentary, Johnny de Laeticia, offering an immersion into Johnny’s later years, with plenty of never-before-seen family archive footage.
