“We are currently discussing this fourth film, but the script is not ready,” Jackie Chan said Thursday at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. “I’m going to see the principal tonight and we’ll discuss it.”
Jackie Chan confirmed on the same occasion that former boxing champion Mike Tyson will be present in the credits. This quarter of rush hour It has been advertised for years.

In 2017, Jackie Chan announced that the script was ready. “The movie is being made. And it will be the thrill of all the rush! Jackie is ready and we want this movie to be unforgettable,” Chris Tucker said a year later.
The identity of the director of this new work is still unknown. Brett Ratner had directed the first three films. But the latter hasn’t filmed since he was accused of sexual assault at the start of the #MeToo movement in 2017.
Released between 1998 and 2007, the first three installments of the franchise grossed $849 million at the worldwide box office.
