The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been booming for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. Phase four is officially completed with black panther 2 and the tutors Holiday Special, so fans are looking forward to phase five. The long awaited first wonderful next movie successful rooms will be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummaniastarring Jonathan Majors as the evil Kang the Conqueror . And Majors recently responded to comparisons between his MCU character and Josh Brolin’s Thanos.
Throughout the first three phases of the MCU, Thanos presented himself as a threat to the galaxy. Josh Brolin gave a universally acclaimed performance as the Mad Titan Avengers: Infinity War Yes Game over, widely regarded as one of the MCU’s best villains. Kang the Conqueror should be the next threat to Thanos-level heroes, and Jonathan Majors recently spoke to cinepop on the confrontations between the two antagonists. He was asked if Kang would be as powerful and terrifying as his predecessor, with the belief III actor answer :
It’s hard to say. I think Thanos was a fantastic villain. We’ve only gotten to this point thanks to the great work of Josh Brolin. I understand the comparisons between Thanos and Kang, but they are completely different worlds. My story is different. Kang is different. He will be very different. In regards to the character being powerful, I’ll leave the movie show.
Here. It seems Jonathan Majors doesn’t quite agree with Josh Broiln’s comparison between Kang and Thanos. Instead, he focused on bringing his new character to life and left the story of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania speak for itself. Luckily for the fans, we won’t have to wait too long to get our questions answered.
Jonathan Majors comments to CinePop come as the promotional tour of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania. While it’s still months away from its release, the cast is already touring and conducting interviews to help build excitement for the first MCU Phase Five film. The footage released to the public has been quite limited, so there are countless questions surrounding the contents of Peyton Reed’s mystery trio. As far as Kang the Conqueror is concerned, this is doubly true.
Much like Thanos before him, the arrival of Kang the Conqueror is something that has been in the works for quite some time. Jonathan Majors has to play a less scary role variant of the character in Loki who issued a warning about the destructive nature of his alternate self. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania will give us just that, with the first trailer your personal army in the Quantum Realm. As a reminder, you can review that trailer below.
Considering how powerful Kang is in the MCU, I have to say I’m worried about the characters anthill 3. They barely seem to have enough powers at their disposal (unless Scott uses it Thanos’ ass strategy ), and the trailer showed Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang looking worse. But the film’s plot is largely a mystery, with Jonathan Majors only being briefly shown in all of his Kang glory.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania The theatrical release is currently scheduled for February 17th. In the meantime, check out the Movie release dates 2023 to plan your New Year’s theatrical outings. We’ll have to wait and see when other characters meet Kang the Conqueror, or if everything falls apart. with avengers 4 .
