Milana Vayntrub has been the spokeswoman for AT&T for a decade. Since 2020, she’s been candid about the internet trolling that ensued after she landed the famous gig and how her approach to fashion has changed in commercials, which means we’ve seen her in a lot of blue jerseys lately. After appearing in the company’s candid Christmas commercial this season, the actress took time off from work (and babysat her young son) to dress up for a glamorous night out.
The AT&T spokesperson shared a first look at 2023 in a series of photos taken by photographer Sam McGuire. Ringing in the New Year this year, the actress stuck to the blue theme but she ditched the TV knitwear, instead opting to wear a beautiful breezy blue polka dot dress. She shared a plethora of photos highlighting the fun look on Instagram.
The actress said she had to be very careful with her fashion choices in the past. The star spoke out in 2020 to explain that she was frequently harassed by her when she began her stint at AT&T in 2013. She described the bullying like trolls targeting their “milkies” (her term is not mine) and said it made her ask for more control over her character and wardrobe in AT&T commercials. These days, Vayntrub is often seen behind counters or tables in more recent commercials, including this Christmas commercial which features her in a blue jersey.
These days, however, it seems like you can express yourself in more ways than one with the outfits you choose to share on social media. I have to assume it was probably nice to have a night out in general. The actress became a mom in 2020 and stated in “How did you recover? podcast earlier this year that it was more of a “time commitment” than I would have imagined before becoming a mother.
However, [parenting a pet] It really doesn’t match how I feel about my son. I just think it’s the best; I am so in love with him. I just think he’s so funny and cute and the hardest thing is that I want to spend every minute with him and I’m also very grateful when I have free time. So it’s complicated. And I don’t understand it but I know that I really like it and I know that I like being a mom. There are so many things I wasn’t prepared for. Like you weren’t prepared for the time commitment. It looks so simple.
Even famous moms throw fewer parties, but when they do, I’m ready to put on some heels, a nice dress, and dress up a bit. After everything Milana Vayntrub has been through online, I’m glad that she manages to show her happiness in everything she wears.
