Almost 20 years after the end of Buffy the Vampire SlayerSarah Michelle Gellar has returned to her roots in supernatural television. The actress plays in the new teenage wolf divided herd of wolvesand she makes sure leukocyte the fans are listening, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first.
herd of wolves marks Sarah Michelle Gellar’s first Supernatural television effort since playing Buffy Suffers on the beloved WB/UPN series. Playing arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, her role is a little different than that of a vampire hunter and savior. she explained to TV Online that there is more to the show and the character of her than she initially seems to be. Geller said:
I think the main thing is that it’s a little slow for me, and to believe that there’s a reason I’m on this show. It might not be obvious at first, but I promise there will be twists and turns you won’t see coming.
When SMG was first announced to join herd of wolves, there was certainly excitement and excitement about the news. Gellar hasn’t done much live TV in recent years, so add the fact that it’s been 20 years since she left Sunnydale, and is it any wonder that anticipation was high for her new role? Now that the series has premiered on Paramount+, it should be interesting to see what these twists entail.
Obviously Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn’t revealed all the spoilers about what’s to come, but her comments suggest it will be worth it. It may not be obvious in the first three [episodes], but when you get to four and five, you’re in for a few twists. . . . In the [episode] eight, you will have the self you came to see. You have to wait, but it’s worth it.
It should be interesting to see how herd of wolves done and whether it will be among the best shows on Paramount+. Since there’s only one episode available right now, it could be a while before it compares to some of the streamer’s other hits. But with Gellar in the cast, she’s already looking good, so who knows what the future holds?
