Minute of silence in the National Assembly for the victims of the repression in Iran

The President of the Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, hailed the “admirable courage” of the protesters who took to the streets after the death of Mahsa Amini, detained by the moral police.

Deputies and members of the Government observed a minute of silence on Tuesday in tribute to the victims of the repression in Iran “who, since September 16, have paid with their lives for their fight for freedom.”
