“As news is circulating that falsely informs the citizens of the parish of Benfica that the referendum, on which the vote is currently taking place, is not binding, it is clarified that this conclusion can only be withdrawn after the result of the vote has been determined. All referenda are binding if turnout exceeds half of the registered voters”reads the CNE note.
