Dussopt described it as “murderous”: for Tanguy, this “freezes the debate” and “prevents talking about people’s lives”

The president delegate of the RN group in the National Assembly believes that the rebels “are in provocation, permanent hatred, agitation.”

A guest of BFMTV-RMC this Tuesday, Jean-Philippe Tanguy returned to the incident that occurred in the National Assembly on Monday when the rebel deputy Aurélien Saintoul accused Olivier Dussopt, Minister of Labor, of being an “impostor” and a “murderer”.

The National Group “condemned” these statements, recalled the deputy, who stressed that the other “groups, including those of the New Ecological and Social Popular Union,” did the same. Jean-Philippe Tanguy charged the rebels. For him, the latter “have a group thought” and “are in the provocation, the permanent hatred, the agitation”.

“enemies”

“As Marine Le Pen said, they seek to regard other political figures as enemies,” the far-right elected official continued. According to him, in this configuration, “we are not adversaries, we are not in competition […] we are in the insult, the caricature [et] a willingness to hurt each other that is unfortunate.”

The LFI group is at the center of criticism, this incident occurs only a few days after the exclusion of MP Thomas Portes. The Seine-Saint-Denis parliamentarian had posted a photo of himself on Twitter, wearing his elected official scarf and his foot on a ball bearing the image of Olivier Dussopt.

“Get to the point”

For Jean-Philippe Tanguy, these events “beyond the substance and the wounds that this can cause each other, freeze the debate and prevent us from talking about people’s lives.”

The truth is that if the ultra-right has few possibilities to express itself, it is also because of the small number of amendments it presented on this text: some 200. “We knew that the number of days reserved for debate was limited,” he justified. Jean-Philippe Tanguy, while the exchanges will end this Friday in the National Assembly.

“The idea is to go to the essential,” he explained to BFMTV.com, a few days ago. That is, with the examination of article 7, setting the postponement of the legal retirement age at 64 years, compared to the current 62.
