Pensions: Bardella accuses Macron of “taking unhealthy pleasure in organizing chaos”

The president of the National Group deplores the use of 49.3 by the executive and says he has “the feeling of an end to the reign where the government, the people in power, governs against the French people.”

Invited by franceinfo the day after the outbreak of 49.3 by the prime minister, the president of the National Group accuses Élisabeth Borne this Friday of pointing “a disrespectful finger of honor to the French and to the national representation.”

“We are here in a democratic coup,” says Jordan Bardella, lamenting that 49.3 has become “a method of government.”

“It is hard for me to understand Emmanuel Macron’s obsession,” he continues. “We have the feeling that it takes an unhealthy pleasure to leave the chaos in the country,” adding that it has “the feeling of an end of reign where the government, the people who are in power, rule against the French people.”

“Non-sectarian”

Jordan Bardella calls “all movements that call themselves opposition to vote for the motions of no confidence.” He assures that the deputies of his party “will group their votes in motions that do not come from the RN group.”

“I am not a sectarian like the Nupes,” he says, while the leftist deputies said they would not vote on a RN motion.

The president of the RN also calls on the deputies of LR to “have the courage to vote on these motions of censure.” “The leadership of the LR knelt before Emmanuel Macron,” he accuses, pointing in particular to Éric Ciotti and Olivier Marleix, who were opposed to the motions of censure.
