Forward Ricardo Horta was declared unavailable by the team’s medical staff and left the team’s work this Tuesday.
The dismissal was made official by the Portuguese Football Federation on its official websitein which it is read that the 29-year-old player “had an examination this morning” and that it indicated that the player is not “recoverable” for any of the national team’s matches.
Roberto Martínez’s working group is thus reduced to 24 players for the matches this Friday against Slovakia and next Monday against Bosnia, after Raphaël Guerreiro was also released this Sunday.
