FC Porto SAD with a profit of 20,765 million euros in 2021/22

The SAD of FC Porto had, for the second consecutive year, a positive consolidated net result of 20,765 million euros (ME) in the 2021/22 season, reported the company of the current champion of the Portuguese First Football League.

In a statement issued by the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the ‘dragons’ pointed out the “recovery of income related to the ‘day’, at values ​​close” to the pre-Covid-19 pandemic, in contrast to the fall in prices “operating results, due to the reduction in income obtained from participation in European competitions”.

If operating costs showed a slight increase, excluding costs with passes, of 3,216 ME, personnel costs experienced a reduction of 9,684 ME.

“The results with transfers of player passes had a very positive contribution, of the order of 83,736 ME to the accounts. On the contrary, amortization and impairment losses with repos penalized the result by 38,739 ME”, they add.

The SAD assets of FC Porto reached 418,449 ME, which represents an increase of 24,762 ME compared to June 30, 2021, “despite the decrease in the book value of the workforce, mainly due to the increase in balances receivable from customers, in 38,377 ME”.

As for liabilities, there has been an increase of only 1% to 530,117 ME, with “a reduction of 20,351 ME compared to the previous period in the group’s paid liabilities”.

In 2021/22, the team led by Sérgio Conceição won the 30th national championship and the 18th Portuguese Cup, but was eliminated in the group stage of the League Cup and the Champions League, in addition to having reached the round of 16 final of the Europa League.
