The Secretary General of the UN, António Guterres, confirmed this Wednesday that he will meet next week, during the General Assembly, with the presidents of Ukraine, Turkey and the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov.
At a press conference in New York, Guterres stated that in his meetings with Volodymyr Zelensky, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Lavrov he will discuss the Black Sea Grains Agreement, which is suspended by Moscow’s decision.
“Next week I will receive President Zelensky, President Erdogan and Minister Lavrov and, obviously, this issue (the grain agreement) will be on the table for our discussions,” said the leader of the United Nations (UN). .
The former Portuguese prime minister stressed that he will meet separately with each of these leaders.
