Eight citizens flagged by Portugal have already left Gazathrough the Rafah Pass, on the way to Cairo, there being a Palestinian citizen residing in Portugal who preferred to remain in the territorythe Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this Friday.
“Eight citizens ordered by the Portuguese authorities to leave the territory – two nationals and six family members – who are currently on their way to Cairo are already outside Gaza,” reads a note from the MNE, which specifies that “a Palestinian citizen, resident in Portugal, chose to remain in the territory.”
“Efforts continue to remove the minor who was allowed to leave and who Family members were tragically killed in the bombing last Wednesday, which has not been possible so far due to difficulties communicating with family members”says the EMN.
