An ongoing “massive attack” on Ukraine’s energy facilities

Parallel to the strikes in Kyiv, the Ukrainian presidency claims that a Russian “massive attack” is taking place against energy installations in various regions of Ukraine.

“Some of the missiles were shot down by the anti-aircraft defense, while others hit the target,” said an adviser to the Ukrainian presidency, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

These attacks come two days after an attack on the Russian fleet in Crimea, which Moscow blamed on Kyiv with the help of London.

Kyiv bombed, neighborhoods deprived of electricity and water

Hello everyone and welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the war in Ukraine. The mayor of Kyiv announced this Monday morning that districts of the Ukrainian capital are deprived of electricity and water “after the Russian attacks.”

Several explosions were heard in the capital, which had already been attacked on October 10 and 17, in particular by Iranian-made Russian drones. These strikes had affected the energy infrastructure of the capital, causing power cuts in recent days.
