The newly elected president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, will even visit Portugal in November, he confirmed to TSF the team of the Brazilian leader.
The president-elect lands on the 18th, after participating in the 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP27).
This Tuesday, São Bento had already confirmed to the TSF a possibility of a meeting between Lula da Silva and the prime minister, António Costa.
The Presidency of the Republic, which was also contacted, said it had no indication that a visit would take place.
Lula da Silva will be at COP27 on November 16 and 17 and it will be in Portugal where he begins the international tour announcing that the South American country would cease to be “a pariah” in the international community, after the years of the Bolsonaro government.
