A few hours after the attack, Alaa Al-Najjar received the bodies of his children at the Nasser hospital, where he worked as a pediatrician. The emergency services had told The Guardian that he had not been able to identify them, since the burns were important.
When asked about this strike, the Israeli army told AFP that one of his planes had “hit several people suspected of operating from an adjacent structure” to the soldiers in this area.
