The day of swimming became a drama. An 8-year-old boy died of a man of sixty and so many jumping from a diver in the Mélèzes pool in the Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland on Tuesday, August 12, he told local media as Blick and Le Temps.
Around 2:30 pm, the child left the diver located 5 meters high. When landing in the water, he hit the 67 -year -old swimsuit in the basin. Despite his care for help, the man who was seriously injured could not be saved, police said in a statement.
The boy identified the next day
An investigation was opened to “establish the causes and circumstances of this accident.” The child was only identified the day after the facts thanks “to the reports and the testimonies collected,” police said in another press release published Thursday.
“The collected elements confirm that this is an accidental drama,” said the police.
The file will be transmitted to the criminal justice of minors. The Swiss media specify, however, that the young swimmer will not be exposed to him, because it only applies from the age of 10.
