War in Ukraine: At least six civilians killed in Russian attack near Donetsk, Zelensky says

The Ukrainian president said five other people were injured in a cunning attack in the town of Kurakhove.

At least six civilians were killed and five others wounded in a Russian attack on Wednesday in the town of Kurakhove, 50 kilometers west of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

“Terrorists attacked the peaceful city of Kourakhové. A market, a bus station, gas stations and apartment buildings were the targets of the attacks. At least six civilians were killed, five were injured,” he said, he announced on social media. , calling the Russian Army “inhumane”.

This announcement comes in the midst of a Ukrainian counter-offensive and while Vladimir Putin assures that he will only use nuclear weapons “as a means of defense” and only “in response” to a possible enemy attack of this type on his territory.
