Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Ukraine will win the war against Russia and that it will happen by the end of this year.
“Of that I am sure, I not only believe it. I really want it to be this year, we have everything for that: motivation, certainty, friends, diplomacy and voice”, guarantees Zelensky, who says that there is “no country in the world capable of this, only if it is the United States”.
The Ukrainian president believes that “if everyone does their homework”, victory “will be inevitable”.
“If each of the partners and we, within the country, remain strong and resilient, if there is unity around our victory, it will be the victory of values. That if they meet the deadlines and it’s not just a ‘blah, blah’. blah,’” Zelensky said when asked what he expects from the next period of the conflict.
In a call for unity, Zelensky also recalls that there are children exposed to war while the Russians “choose to send their children” to the conflict.
In kyiv, Volodymyr Zelensky thanked everyone who has helped Ukraine to date.
“I am sure that they still do not know what they did for us. On the day of victory, the feeling will reach everyone,” explained the Ukrainian leader. “They help us to be stronger and to remain invincible. It is a year of invincibility”.
In front of the journalists, the Ukrainian president also called for a minute of silence for those who “unfortunately are no longer with us.”
