The Oscars pay tribute to the scripts of “The voice of a woman” and “Everything everywhere at the same time”

The original screenplay for “Everything and Everywhere at the Same Time” and the adaptation of “A Voz das Mulheres” won Oscars in their respective categories tonight at the 95th Academy Awards in Hollywood.

“Everything everywhere at the same time” also won the Oscar for Best Editing, bringing the number of statuettes won to four for now, the same as “Nothing New West.”

At the Dolby Theater Awards, “Top Gun: Maverick” won the Oscar for Best Sound, and the Oscar for Best Original Song went to the film “RRR” for MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose’s “Naatu Naatu.”

The Oscars celebrate their 95th edition tonight, in a ceremony that takes place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, which featured the short film “Ice Merchants”, by the Portuguese João Gonzalez, nominated for Best Animated Short Film.

This year, “Everyone Everywhere at the Same Time,” an independent production by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, leads the race with 11 nominations, bringing together those for Best Picture and Director, as well as the acting categories.

Also nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture are “The Spirits of Inisherin” (Martin McDonagh), “The Fabelmans” (Steven Spielberg), “Tár” (Todd Field), “All New West” (Edward Berger), “Top Gun : Maverick” (Joseph Kosinski), “Elvis” (Baz Luhrmann), “Avatar: The Waterway” (James Cameron), “The Woman’s Voice” (Sarah Polley) and “Triangle of Sadness” (Ruben Ostlund ).
