These results of the coalition led by Meloni translate into 237 of the 400 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, and 115 of the 200 seats in the Senate.
The center-left Democratic Party (PD) was the second most voted, with 19% of the votes in the early legislative elections.
Together with his green and leftist allies, he will have 84 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 44 in the Senate.
The 5 Star Movement obtained 15.4% of the votes, giving it 52 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 28 in the Senate.
The centrist Azione alliance obtained 7.8% of the vote and will occupy 21 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and nine in the Senate.
The remaining seats will be distributed to smaller parties.
