The winegrowers request an “emergency fund”, Jérôme Asey, asking the minister to “resort to the assignment of national solidarity (ISN)”, a fund provided to compensate for farmers not covered by multiple risk insurance in case of losses related to climate layers.
He also hopes that they can complete their production by buying outside their exploitation of movements or grapes “beyond 5% authorized when there is a climatic danger” not to lose the market share. “
The fire dominated on Sunday night has traveled 16,000 hectares, destroyed 36 houses and burned more than twenty agricultural hangars, according to the prefecture.
