Kaley Cuoco is currently pregnant with her first child. She and partner Tom Pelphrey announced they were having a baby in October, but later meet cute Star said she had known for a while before sharing the news. In fact, when she got dressed for the HBO Emmy party in September, she was concerned that her dress would be around her waist. Now, thanks to a new video, we know she even lightly joked about her pregnancy before sharing the news with fans online.
In a TIC Tac viral story that exploded after her pregnancy announcement, hairstylist Brad Goreski shared a message from Stewardess star before the premiere of his film Peacock. In the video, Cuoco is already dressed in the striking pink dress she wore when she attended the event with Tom Pelphrey. She’s clearly on the phone when the video starts and she’s not too happy to be disturbed. However, it’s her response in her video that’s most intriguing. After asking an off-camera question, she looks up and says, “Mommy’s working.” Check it.

The video itself is quite funny and when it was posted at the time of the premiere, it seemed like an innocuous moment that the famous hairdresser grabbed and spewed on TikTok. However, since we now know Kaley Cuoco was already pregnant when she attended the event, the video has new context.
How do we know Kaley Cuoco was pregnant at the Emmy party?
When Kaley Cuoco hit the carpet in the hot pink dress, all eyes were on Cuoco who was attending the event with Tom Pelphrey. She and the Ozark actor started dating in early 2022 and had just made their first public appearance together a few months earlier, at Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame event.
Just looking at the star, it wasn’t quite where she was visibly pregnant, not in the way Blake Lively, for example, has seen in recent events. (In fact, Lively chose to announce her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump.) Meanwhile, Cuoco hadn’t made much progress yet and decided to keep things under the radar for a while. However, when she finally made the announcement, she also shared that she could barely put her dress on, even mentioning her stylist in that post.
Brad Goreski must have known she was struggling to fit into the dress which leads me to assume he also knew what he was doing when he posted “Mom is working” on TikTok. The most recent comments on the post showed Cuoco’s fans appreciating the joke, as many of them started commenting things like “she’s going to be a mom soon” and “now mom’s job makes more sense 😂 😂😂” after the announcement of pregnancy.
This isn’t the first time Brad Goreski has worked with a pregnant client, having spoken about it before People about dressing Jenna Dewan when she was pregnant, even though her client wasn’t trying to hide her baby bump at the time. Since Kaley Cuoco’s baby isn’t expected until 2023, I’m guessing she’ll have a lot more events that she can attend if she so chooses. It is given Cuoco took it upon herself to share her pregnancy journey. in other areas, including working out with her trainer Ryan Sorensen, I can only imagine that if she has to attend an event, she’ll be the most stylish mom-to-be.
